does anyone know for sure what is max boost on the 2.3? i have heard/seen figures all over the place, from 14 lbs clear to 30. i can believe 14, 30 is hard to digest.

I think 5 to 6 is more like it. 14 is Way to high and 30 is out of the ballpark. Crack a homer on that one.Have been unable to locate anything to confirm this yet. Too long ago that checked one to remember. WSM is no help. Techline does not have any idea and finally located my service highlightes for Millenia from 95 new model training but cannot find notes from class. I do know that boost supplied does not peak like a turbo but is more akin to a supercharger that provides a continuous boost pressure regardless of rpm. The Lyscholm compressor used on the 2.3 kicked out a good boost but have as yet to determine what the output pressure was. Will post you again if I can come across an answer to your question.

Got a 2002 in today and checked. Max boost I could get was 14-15psi under full load, wide open throttle.
