I like 5-spokes as well. I've got a set of 18x8 RX-8 wheels that are on my wife's 6 right now that I will use on my Speed3 when I get it. (I'm planning on buying near the end of the production run, hoping for an 08MY so I can buy summer 08)

yeah i guess its about personal perference, that black with chrome lip wouldnt look bad at all

So, you are saying they are going to make the S3 in '08 as well? That's interesting, because the service manager at the dealership, told me today there are no plans to do this. I really don't find it surprising, as the folks at the dealerships often seem to be in the dark

I know a handful of Porcshe Club folks here who had their wheels powder coated. You can get any of hundreds or thousands of colors. Powdercoat, done correctly, is damn near bulletproof.

In most major markets, it's likely you have a powdercoat job shop that specializes in automotive wheels. In other words, he'll have the right stuff to strip the old paint off and knows how to set the coating without heat warping your aluminum alloys. Check into ot!
