Hi guys
I have a 98 mazda 626 V6 manual
Lately usually when i drive slow im hearing a ratlling noise on the rear right side .
I took the car to my mechanic an he told me that is the hub assembly . He changed it but the noise is still there and its killing me .
I took it back and now he told me that is something with the shock.
He ordered the the parts andn i took the car there , after 1 hour or so he calls me and tells me that he canot change the shock cause he doesnt have the right equipment to do it (he said that mazda has special suspension system and he didnt know about it and that i should go to the dealer )
Can someone help me with this matter ?
I dont really know what the real problem is .
Can u please tell me how much would it cost to change the shock if any of you knows ?
Thank you

To replace the struts (shock) all you need is a spring compressor and simple tools. When struts go out it makes a rattle on every bump in the road and gets very annoying very fast. Always replace struts in pairs. Here is a pic of what it looks like.
