I am considering buying a 94 929 with 130k miles on it, is there anything I should look for right off the bat as a problem? looks like timing belts/starting have been issues from the posts I have seen - any other common problems? any ideas what a new timing belt runs installed? Also, they are asking $2k for this car bcs of the miles...does that seem reasonable? Thanks for any suggestions/pointers. B

hey i dont know if this will really help much as for your question about the price vs. the miles, but i did a local search in my area. i found a 92 929 4 door without the milage listed though for $3000 and i found a 93 with the milage listed as 130,654k listed for $1900obo, so in comparision to what you are looking at if the car is in good shape maybe its worth it. sorry i could not help more, its just something i do when i look for a car i always search around to see what the model i am considering buying is selling for, at least locally anyway for me. good luck hope its a keeper if you get it.
