Just wondering how much you all payed for your Mazda3. My girlfriend has been researching new cars for several weeks now and pretty much has decided on the Mazda3, a particular one at that:
It is a 2006 Mazda 3S 5-speed Touring package. Added on top of the Touring Package is EVERY available option besides leather. This includes the moonroof/6-disc package, compass/dimming mirror package, interior trim package, wheel locks, pearl paint upgrade, etc. So basically it would be equal to a Grand Touring model minus the leather.
Considering this is almost the top of the line model with everything besides leather, how much would be a good price? How much have you paid for a similar car. Keep in mind this particular car is a manual, and it's an '06 model when the '07 models are already being sold - those two factors will definetely affect price, right?

Well that's not pretty much all the options of the GT. You're forgetting the navigation system, HID headlights, LED tail lights, TPMS (standard on all 2007 models). Also don't expect the '06 model prices to start dropping just because the '07's are coming out. The Mz3 holds it's value very well. According to KBB.com my '05 is actually worth more than I owe on it right now.
Mine is a '05 with basically the same options you listed for the car she wants, and I got it for $18,500 OTD. Incidentally what's the "interior trim package"?

I just purchased a fully loaded 2007 mazda 3 GT with all the options except the gps. ( apparently most dealership do not order this option) It is loaded and it a new color the galaxy grey mica. I got mine OTD with 30 miles on it for 20K. Not too bad considering It was the only 5 door 3 I found that was fully loaded. Not to mention the 2007 3 GT come with DSC, TPMS, heated leather seats, Ipod jack, and 6 air bags! ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM. Keep in mind I live in San Francisco so to me that was a fair deal.

I just want to point out that it's not an "ipod jack". It's a generic 3.5mm audio input and can be used by anything that has an audio output..... not just an ipod. :D

i got a used 2005 Mazda3 SP23 with 17,000 miles on it for only $17,000. The car usually runs at $23,000 for the used 2005's but they dealership has all their cars redicuously low. Love the car and just installed a remote start in it today, i love it!
