OK..well to start off...i bought an 82 RX7, i paid 200 bucks for it. I got it to crank over but will not fire up. Found out that the entire engine is full up with gasoline, i pulled out the dipstick and gas came gushing out. !!! So i decided to drain the oil pan...not happening...tried everything in the books to get that plug out...i did not prevail...and ideas on what i should do next or scrap the whole thing any info would be helpful thanks scott

I had my 86 fill the oil with gas when it had a failure on two of the three apex seals in the rear rotor, I would drain it like an auto transmission, pull the oil pan, but be careful to not drown in the oil!. Be careful to put a jackstand under the motor if you do this as one of the mounts needs to come off. try draining the oil, refilling with some 20/50 and maybee she will fire. May have been flooded again and again, but its probably apex seals, easiest way to tell is to pull the plugs and crank it over, you can hear if there is a bad one or not. There is an audio file somewhere on the net of what to listen for, you should be able to find it by searching for it. It helped me alot. People usually kill these cars, i remember there was one for sale where the guy claimed that all it needed was a new timing belt!!! Most of the time people dont even know whats under that hood. Good luck.
