anyone ever swapped a 302 into a b2200? I was just wondering since none of the junkyards around here seem to have the motor for my truck, but have tons of 302's all over the place. Any installation info is very welcome. Thanks guys!

What year? I've seen tons of Rangers with 302's (and bigger)

I'm looking into a Chevy 350 swap into my B2600. I just don't think the 2.6 is going to be worth modding enough to spin 40-44" tires fast enough to keep the lugs clean.

I'm looking at dropping one into my 87 2200. I'm just curious as to the motor mounts and the tranny and driveshaft. I'm pretty sure a mustang rear end would fit fine (maybe a little wide but i've got fender flares to fix that problem....... i gotta find a way to fit 335's on it somehow! =P) Anyone done this though?

I've seen practically every V8 you could think of in a B2200, both a 302 and a 350 should fit just fine.

Research a little because I now that even custom motor mounts came for the swap, but don't you think on rebuilt yours, the gas is high and a V8 drinks more than a I4...

is this going to be a daily driver, because that will definitely eat up plenty of gas. but hey, if you got the money for it... then hell, go for it!
