No I am quality control in a manufacturing plant for medical parts and plastic parts the are made threw injection molding. I wish it was as easy as stated above. I take measurments of parts by reading bluw prints, make sure operators and doing their job and make sure all parts are meeting ISO standards and customer specifications. Plus my job is a catch all for filing making up paperwork, sealing finished goods, packaging, make sure ops are reading their books and the ass chewing if any of the ops mess up and doing the day shift ladys job that is my boss cuz she can not get her stuff done. Basically making sure everything is done a certain way and all parts look and measure with tolerance. Oh and running around like a chicken with my head chopped off lol.

RJB, I used to work for my families supermarkets, so I feel your pain! Grocery store jobs suck unless you like cranky people!

I'm currently working OfficeMax in their Print and Document Center. I've worked there for 5 years and it's put me through school (sort of...).... It's not the greatest job in the world, but it pays for my car and student loans. I'm also working on my Masters in mental health and school counseling - being a grad student is definitely a job! I just have my internship to do and the I'll be done with that (thank god!!).

Edge - which company do you work for?

I used to work on cars full-time for a living. I now work on them as part time money. I had three Chevy trucks and one Toyota this week.

Internet security, Net Tech, Microsoft cert. tech.....take a 2 year course and get certified. Huge money to be made, and there's more work out there than there are techs.
