so far i've busted two fans and one clutch
i guess the body flex is allowing the fan to hit the rad and bend the blades
looking to see what type of fan electric or fixed(no clutch)bolt the fan blade to the water pump fits
what type of set up works
will the direct bolt on fan keep the engine from reaching operating temp from continuous draw of air through the rad
or should i look for an electric fan from another car and buy a thermostat kit for it

goto your local autozone store, ask for a univeral electric fan. at least a 16 inch, these fans can be pushers *push air through the rad) or pullers (that pull the air through the rad) either way it keeps the engine nice and cool...

Best bet is to get an Autozone fan, garunteed to work. If you can get a good deal from a part yard, get a Fiero fan or one from an early-mid 90's Ford. Use the shroud if t will fit the radiator. You'll see ALOT better results with the shroud than without. I wouldn't pay over $40 for the fan and shroud from a yard. The Fiero/Ford fans actually pull more air than a brand new Autozone (or whichever) fan of the 16" variety (according to a few individual tests)

well ended up using a clutch fan from a b2200 fit the water pump perfectly and sits about 2 inches back from the rad. still fits inside the shroud and the temp stay just above the 1/2 way mark

so for now this is fixed i did look at a few different electric fans but the price is a factor for now
