I read in an Apple Ipod book that some newer vehicles have Apple Ipod inputs on the back of the stereo units so you can insert a stereo male jack to play the Ipod. I was wondering if anybody knows if a 2001 Mazda MPV with a six CD holder stereo unit has such a connection? Maybe my MPV is too old?

Intigrating iPOD interface on OEM cars was first introduced by BMW in around 2004 so the MPV from 01 most likely doesn't have it. Auxilery jacks are on alot of aftermarket headunits but OEM aux. jacks became popular in 2006/2007 model years.
