Any thoughts on the Webasto Hollandia 700 series moon/sunroof? It would be for my 2005 Mazda6 i.

Personal experience feedback especially appreciated.

i can honestly say that i've never looked into an aftermarket sunroof for my vehicle because mine came with the package. from what i have read from your link you have posted, this sunroof has very cool options (ex: rain sensor which closes sunroof ). that is a very cool feature.

Thanks, Gray. I think it looks really good, too. Not too crazy about the clunky control feature, but the actual roof fixture is my major concern.

I have been given every reassurance that even dealers use this brand, and that the local shop where it will be done has been used by all the major dealers (including Mazda) in my area. Nothing but good reports.

I bought my 6 used and was disappointed there was no factory sunroof, but when this option was given to me by the seller (Enterprise) with complete reassurance, I figured it into my financing.

Get some kind of "no leak" guarantee out of them...I find it has more to do with the installation that the parts themselves in most cases.

I will, SS. Thanks. I believe it does have that, but I'll triple check.

Webasto also supplies sunroofs to the auto industry for factory installs.

My new sunroof is in and it not only looks fantastic, but "performs" beautifully! The button controls were configured into the light / sunglass holder panel. Fingers crossed all will continue to work well as long s I have the car! V-good warranty.
