I just purchased a 1987 B2200 for my son who is about a year from being old enough to drive it. We are looking for some cool accessories, but are not having much luck. He wants to add a body kit (ground effects to us older guys) but I can't find even a air dam or side skirts anywhere, any suggestions? Also does anyone have any experience lowering this truck? Any help would be appreciated, and he would love to see some pics of some cool trucks.

Thanks!!

cardomain.com has many lowered mazda's from the late 80's and early 90's. Some of them have pics of the lowering process.

If you want to shoot me an e-mail, I could tell you the entire process. It's just the opposite of lifting the trucks too. I had a 92 B2200 that I lowered 4", really easy. alukefahr@hotmail.com

Mazda Trucks are know for being lowered... They are actually eay to lower. I would buy the drop spindles for the front suspension.. buy them by the drop you want.. 2-3 inch.. And blocks in the rear.. I would not recomend turning torsion bars down... Some people do that, but it makes the ride quality sorry, you hit a small bump, it feels like crap.. To make it look real good, have it painted.. put clear corner lights on it (front) Euros tailights in the back. If you have time, have the door handles shaved... Most of the work you and your son can do. Enjoy....

Aww, and for the body kit.. i have saw very few.. and they really do not look good.. (idea) buy a toyota front bumper conversion, that would make it look nice..
