because the sentra and altima are front wheel drive...i should have know the maximas are rear wheel drive because my family ha(s) an Ininiti M35x (a more luxurious maxima), which is mostly rear wheel drive until you want the all wheel drive.

I thought the Maxima had FWD too. I think it's just because in my head 4 doors like always have FWD, if not AWD, bvut not RWD I dunno why. Just one of those you see one you seen them all assumptions.

The maximas are FWD. I am 100% positive...SOrry Tracker, I always try sticken up for ya, but you are dead wrong this time my man...

those look like the specs for the 05 or 06 models my mom has a 04 it doesnt even come with tiptronic transmission let alone 5 gears, could they have changed?

a year change wouldn't change the drivetrain. Ok I feel better, I thought all this time I had overlooked that.
