Its pretty simple if you look at it right. 20 HP increase for 60$!!!!!wow I dont think you can get that even after dumping 800$ on a exhaust and a CAI. I have not seen any serious racers or mod guys even come close to taking one of these out of the box. I would guess that if you could get 20 HP for 60$ every car tuner / racer would have one of these on his car. Remember if it sounds too good to be true. In this case WAY TOO GOOD. It probably is. Too bad though is sure would be nice to get that kind of HP to $ return. My 2 cents.

I agree. It's a P.O.S. I knew a guy who put one on thinking it would make him faster.LOL It didn't do anything for his car but worse gas milage.

if you had a V8 chevy pickup with a stock airbox, it would gain you about 1-2 mpg. not good for our intakes at all. late model manifolds like ours are designed to do something similar to what this is designed to do but with more efficiency and better overall results. this product would be crippling to the intake system.

First of all, there are a hundred company's advertizing and selling these things.  I've seen them for as little as $14.95!!
Second, as the old saying goes, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
'Nough said.

I stand corrected.

Man, we have surely become a non-trusting society, haven't we?  'Guess we;ve just been ripped off too many times.

While were taking old saws, here's another one:
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on ME.

ok pretty much if it sounds too good to be true, then its not good, these things actually royaly fucked my friends car, most of the time those things are cheaply made (like my friends) a piece of the fan inside it ended up inside his manifold. Ive read how they can also screw with timing and just basically ruin a perfectly good motor. Same with the ebay chips, they just screw shit up

Those "turbos" are actually exhaust fans originally designed to vent "poop smell" outside.  Everyone has one in their house/apartment.  You could save your money and rip out your poop fan and cut up your intake and put it in there! Geez...
