Hi everyone. I recently purchased a 2005 6s w/ 6 speed automatic. I have around 1400 miles on it right now and I have noticed that when I am driving in "M" mode and starting from a stand still there is a rather large delay from when i put my foot on the gas and when the car takes off. It is not a smooth start and seems that the car is struggling for power and I'm not even running it hard. Once it starts it will usually rev to between 3500 and 4000 rpm's and it seems that the shift comes way late. It doesn't do it all of the time and it is more noticeable with the air on. Every now and then it will do it while in "D" mode only when the air is on. I've had it to the dealership once already and they said that there wasn't anything wrong and there weren't any computer updates for the car yet. I want to say that there is something wrong with one of the computer programs in the vehicle but I am not sure. Is anyone else experiencing the problem? Has anyone been able to get the problem fixed? I guess I should ask if there really is a problem. I know that the dealership said that thats how the mazda rides but I am still curious. I'm thinking about taking it to another dealership to have it checked. Any recommendations?
