Okay, so I got into a bit of an accident. Busrt three tires, damaged the bumper, side fender, left headlight, and broke the left side view mirror completely off. Everything has been replaced and repaired with the side mirror left. Basically, I can't put the replacement in because a certain screw has some kind of weird lock prevent it from coming loose. I took images it, I'm sorry that the quality is so poor. This is the culprit. It's preventing the screw on the inside from...unscrewing. I don't know how to get this thing off. I don't even know what it is. And this is the screw it won't let loose. I got the others screws off with no problem, but I don't recall those having the little brace thing on the back. Can someone through some help out. Edit- oh, it's a 95 626. The busted side view mirror I had was a manual. The one I got from a used parts place is electric. I was told it would fit on regardless. Edit2- nm, fixed. I just used pliers to hold the stuck thingy and unscrewed it . Put the mirror on. All is well.
