Duel 1 is over. Matt Kenseth and Brad Keselowski not in top 15 but may get in another way. Dale jr started last, finished 1st. Matt Kenseth strong early than fell back.

 

Hendrick domination continues as Jimmie Johnson won Duel 2.
With 5 laps to go, Denny Hamlin semi-wrecked Danica Patrick for the 2nd day in a row.
This led to a green-white checkered and Danica was able to drive her car, and with the help of Kurt Busch she finished good enough to qualify for Daytona 500, as well as Kurt. She finished 10th and Kurt 12th with a run on the outside.

 

Danica needs to get knocked up, stay home, bake cookies.

If, however, she is no better at these things than she is at driving, she will: be homeless, never have kids and burn the cookies.

She isn't even qualified to drive for Uber.

 

Haters gonna Hate. She is under a lot of pressure. It is generally a man's sport, but if she could break through it would bring in a larger audience. I want her to succeed as she is representing all women in the Sprint Nascar series. Her boyfriend, Ricky Stenhouse is not doing any better than she is, and he won the Nationwide series 1 year, i believe. Driving at this level is not easy. For Sunday's Daytona 500: Danica is in row 10, Ricky in row 17 and Denny Hamlin in row 21 (2nd last)
Denny Hamlin did get way to close to her in a turn, which is a no-no for Danica's car aerodynamics causing her to spin. This is why there is no more pushing allowed in Daytona.
This is her last contract year, it's do or die. I would prefer do.

Kurt Busch has been officially suspended due to the fact that the court granted his previous girlfriend a restraining order (today), because the court believes Kurt Busch beat her up (possible strangle and bashed her head).
No replacement driver yet named.
