Hi has anyone had the following problem and if so what did u do? We have a Mazda bt 50 with suicide doors 2010 we have had it for 4 yrs secondhand we put a slide on camper on top been like this for 4 yrs our dream to travel NT and WA outback unfortunately we travelled the Gibbs river road in wa and have a cracked chassis. Have been told it's a write off which left us stranded for 5 days in halls creek caravan park. Kununurra tow truck got us back to Kununurra where our Mazda is and slide on camper is in van storage . would like to know if there was a fault in the 2010 Mazda chassis and what is our next step re claiming . We r with RACV car insurance but don't think l will get an answers, do we go to Mazda?

 

I've been with Mazda for 10 yrs & have never seen a cracked chassis on any B series Ute.
Have you got any photos?
Do you have airbags in the suspension?

I've seen a Falcon ute crack with airbags.
