That's great, welcome aboard. We do have a couple of other people from Mazda dealerships, the more the better. Car electronics and issues are becoming more complex and it's great to have actual Mazda associates on this forum.

Attention: Mazda Service and Parts Managers
Subject: Takata Driver Air Bag Inflator Replacement– Safety Recall 7914J Interim Repair
Subject Vehicles: All 2003-2008 Mazda6, 2004-2008RX-8, 2006-2007 Mazdaspeed6
Current replacement parts for Safety Recall 7914J are an interim repair, which contain new propellant materials that have not been exposed to high absolute humidity, believed to be the cause of the abnormal deployment issue. Please continue to install the interim replacement parts under Safety Recall 7914J.
Mazda will soon issue new Safety Recall 8215F for the final repair, but parts will not be available under later this year. Owners of all affected vehicles will be re-notified in July of this defect (7914J) and informed they will need to return their vehicles for the final repair later this year under new recall 8215F.
All affected VINs will show eMDCS status PRELIM LTR for 8215F (because parts are not yet available). All vehicles involved in 7914J will need the new, modified parts under 8215F, even if they already received the interim repair under 7914J.
When the modified replacement parts are available later this year, 8215F will replace 7914J (7914J will be cancelled). All affected owners will be re-notified when final repair parts are available for their vehicle. First priority for parts replacement will be vehicles in high absolute humidity (HAH) states.
Please continue to check on MS3 periodically for updated FAQs on this recalls as more information becomes available.
This is an industry-wide concern. NHTSA recently posted an FAQ document on their website to address owner questions regarding this issue: http://www.safercar.gov/rs/takata/images/pdfs/Takata-Recalls-FAQ.pdf
Customer safety is our first priority at Mazda. We appreciate your continued support.

do you offer a discount on parts? if so, how much? for example, what would my price be for KJ01-15-350B? what would shipping be to 76249? and what other costs, like handling, would have to be paid? there are 2 dealers who have the best prices on genuine mazda parts, but one has much higher handling costs.
