Default Noob question on how to make my mazda faster

Hey everyone

Ive had my 2006 Mazda 6 for a couple months now and i want to make it a hell of a lot faster. Can anyone help me out and point me in the right direction. In addition, i would like to put a body kit on it as well, but i cant find any good websites that have pics of some sick looking body kits for the Mazda 6. Please help me if you can. I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
An Aspiring Enthusiast

Ok, first off, what engine do you have? Cause the mods available for the 2.3L 4cyl are completely different than those available to the 3.0L V6. Second, what is your budget? Third, keep three words in mind: cheap, fast, reliable. Now pick 2 and only 2. Cheap and reliable aint gonna be fast, but cheap and fast aint gonna be reliable.

best bet http://www.hiboost.com/KITMAZDA6.htm

just keep the boost low and do the correct supporting mods and you will have reliability. supporting mods would be boost controller, new wastegate actuator, and possibly engine internals later on down the road. i would just keep the boost under 10 psi during the summer and 8 psi during the winter. get it tuned and just enjoy it where it sits.

In addition I would suggest a stand-back ECU and a knowledgeable tuner to get your timing and fuel trim set to acceptable parameters.
