help removing valve cover: mazda6 2007
Hey guys, I'm having a crazy hard time removing the wire bracket that is attached to the valve cover of my wife's 2007 mazda6. I have a leaky valve gasket and need to replace and got everything unscrewed and unclipped except for this piece (see picture, sorry for potato quality). Anyone have any experience with this and any tips so I don't break anything?
I see there are a bunch of little clips around it so you can unclip things and remove the wire that runs through the plastic housing but I have been at for an hour and only could unclip one of them, it was really difficult. the plastic harness seems to be attached to the valve cover, I tried to just straight up pry that off but not having luck. I feel like it shouldn't be this hard.
I couldn't find any youtube videos with a mazda model that has this particular style harness or any other references on the internet.

Have you ever been able to remove that wire bracket? I'm having exactly the same problem. I'm trying to replace the valve cover gasket and I can get to all 8mm screws that hold the valve cover in place, except for those two that also hold the wire bracket. I thought if I disconnect all the clips along the bracket, it will come off, but it didn't, it's bolted down by two bolts. I don't see how those can be removed without breaking the plastic. And I would happily do that if I knew what to buy instead, but I don't know what the correct name is for that bracket. Not even sure if it's actually necessary.
