Default Remove centre dashboard bezel (Radio/HVAC)

You knew this was coming given my last post, since it appears the flasher unit is built into the BCM.....

I want to pull the bezel surrounding the hazard light switch in my 2008 M5 GT. I have a Canadian GT spec with climate control but not the navigation system screen. Thus, the switch is between the top of the stereo controls and the HVAC/Radio display screen.

I have lots of experience removing various stereos/dashboards from my years working in a shop. I'm quite sure I can figure this out with some poking around. However, I'm just wondering if anyone has a photo thread of how to do it or anything peculiar to look out for? I would have thought they'd be some pics involving aftermarket stereo systems but didn't see any in my search.

Thanks.

This Youtube link gives a nice slow detailed explanation of the radio removal process, which gets you about 90% of the way there I'm guessing. The hazard switch is located directly above the radio they remove. Hopefully, pulling the hazard switch itself will be easy to figure out from that point on.

Wow. I'm getting ready to install a grom module in my sister's 5....... Great video, and it will help me a ton on the install, but dear god did they make it more difficult than it is on the 3.
