Default Rear Wiper, Not Making Proper Contact

I have never been able to get the rear wiper to work properly. Under warranty (years ago) the dealer replaced the rear wiper arm and it fixed the problem. Now its doing it again (and has for a few years).

The wiper does not contact on the outside of the pass (top of window etc). Misses about 4-5 inches. VERY annoying.

I just replaced the wiper arm with a new one from Mazda and the blade. Same exact same problem.

HELP!

Anyone else have this issue? How did you fix it? SO frustrating.

You need to bend the arm slightly towards the glass so that it keeps the wiper blade in contact. But no too much that it breaks!
