Mazda 5 clicking sound when turning Sharply.
My Mazda 5 sport (petrol) has a unnerving sound when turning sharply. It doesnt show itself under normal driving conditions, however when turning into junctions, parking spaces etc I get what I can only describe as the same noise when riding a bike and something is catching a spoke :-) It seems to appear beyond half lock, so its not the full lock stop.
The car had a similar noise at the end of its warranty and both drive shafts were replaced, but the noise is back within a year. I can't see anything which could be rubbing, and I can't seem to reproduce the noise in reverse.
Before putting the car back into the garage, was just wondering if anyone else had this or a similar issue ?

It sounds like a CV joint clicking, but if you've had both joints replace!! Have the torque of the hub nuts checked and also check the rubber boots on the driveshafts behind the wheels. Put the steering on full lock and have a look where the driveshaft joins the back of the wheel. There are rubber boots and these should be intact with no sign of grease leaking from them.
