Default Insulation/Heat shield

I have a problem with the insulation/heat shield under the car coming loose, is located under the front seats, I have checked under neath of the car and is fallen out, also is making a metallic banging sound, do anybody has experience the same on a Mazda 5?

Did you find a solution to this? I just posted regarding this myself. Let me know, thanks.

If exhaust actually doesn't touch the body, i wouldn't worry about it.

I have the same issue - and found it after one of the lower body shields fell off and dragged on the freeway. What I did was probably not the best solution but its holding. I used gorilla tape and taped the crap out of it. If you have strong tape, and a heat resistant tape it will work because I dont think it really gets that hot. Best is to repalace it all but its a low priority for me right now.
