i need help adjusting the low beams - we replaced the bulbs earlier this year, but are having only minimal improvement - would like to raise the elevation of the headlights to throw light a little further down the road.

hi,i'm new here but from what i've been noticing(screwing with, literally)there are two screws both covered by 4 slotted white caps.they affect the low & high beams but it seems that getting low beams right throws the high beams to the sky, literally.hope that you can figure it out and then help me out!

On my Mazda 6, the Stock headlight bulbs were very poor. I could barely see the lights on the road for low beams, hi beams were fine.
I changed the low beams to HID bulbs with ballasts and was amazed at the difference. Kit costs around $110. HID bulbs are 2-3 times brighter than stock. 5000K is a good set @ 35 watts.
This was a great investment for safety reasons and for me seeing the road better. Well worth it!

blown headlight bulbs!
i've had to learn the hard way of not just going with any ole blue bulb!after switching my dull, oem halogen bulbs for simulated hid's,my night vision actually increased dramatically by about 35%!good, right....not!the "simulated"brighter light came from bulbs with a "90"watt output.needless to say,it burned out the clip and nearly the wiring that powers the bulb.i've went back to a factory rated but tinted bulb until i upgrade to real hid.take it from me,keep it real!
