Default Rock Damage

I Have a '04 Mazda 3 Sport GT and i have some rock damage in a weird place. In the rear lower corner of the rear passenger doors i have rock chipping away the paint and now it looks like its bare metal. Its in the exact same spot on both sides. Has anyone else experienced this problem before? What did you do to fix it?
I showed it to the mechanics at the mazda dealership and they had never seen it before and didn't really seem to interested in helping at all. i don't have pics right at this moment but i can post if ppl want to see.

Angry paint damage

Yes I have paint damage too. I am trying to find out if this is common before I bring it up with the dealer. I have a new 2009 mazda3 touring value ed metropolitian gray. I live in upstate ny (snow country) and have damage to the front panel behind both front wheels in the same place on both sides. It is crazy that a brand new car would lose paint so quickly (3 months). The paint is worn away to the primesr on both front panels below the door. It is not the panel that is directly behind the wheel, it is below the door. The wheel wll looks find but 2 in behind that panel is the damage below the door.

go to mazda and see what they can do for you. especially if you own a brand new 3 they will fix it... and possibly re paint the car depending on how bad the paint damage is.

Mine is on both sides on the rear where the back doors curve up. It's actually on the side skirts/doors. I've never seen this problem on any other car besides the 3.
