Default Just bought a 2012 Mazda3 Skyactiv

Hey folks, I just bought a new 2012 Mazda3 Skyactiv hatchback, and am wondering if anyone has done any work on hacking/chipping it, or otherwise monitoring it via CANBUS yet.

Seriously? The car has been on the road for a few weeks now and you're wondering about aftermarket chips; I wouldn't expect to see anything for at least a year, if ever.

The fact is, for modern normally aspirated cars there really isn't much of anything a "chip" can accomplish except for bumping redline, removing top speed governor, and/or remapping the throttle response.

I hear where you're coming from and figured that'd be the answer

Truth be told, I'm very happy with it as-is, but I'm always curious what people have cooked up, especially in the arena of engine monitoring, which is a fairly passive thing to do.
