Default that damn motor mount

hello.i have a 2007 mazda3 2.3 automatic...i have the passenger side motormount problem like everyone else....so i had a few questions...1st is there an aftermarket motormount i can buy so i dont have to replace it again next year..or just a better one not made by ford...unless ford made a different one....2nd..i have the vibration at 60 like everone else with the motormount problem...is this messing up anything else..ball joints,struts shocks ect?and is it only 1 motormount that fails or should i replace more? thanks...you guys are always the best on here

The passenger side one is the most common one to fail. It's near impossible to check the tranny mount unless you remove the battery box to get to it. The rear mount can be checked from under the car.

thanks..anybody know anything about an aftermarket mount or do i just replace with the same piece of **** mount?

Try RockAuto.com. They often list the same parts by different manufacturers. But be cautious about cheap parts. There tends to be a reason why they are cheap.

Bear in mind that most of the aftermarket mounts are going to be solid mounts (urethane, etc.) and are going to give you more vibrations. I personally replaced my blown one with a regular OEM mount. I figure it lasted the better part of seven years.....
