Wow. There is alot of good info in there. Too bad it was not on some kind of pdf. Would love to save that manual to my computer. Good job.

I did some searching on the net as well. To noavail.I read thru the manual a bit, then got sidetracked with my own curiosity.

I just thought of this now, so it is too late tonight. Has anyone thought of just calling the dealer and asking them?

Just a thought.

But good job wineye.

hey, I have a 2004 m6 and had to replace the flasher, if its in the same place as the 6. Look under the drivers side of the dash. Its striaght up almost right behind the instument cluster. Its a white relay about one inch by two inches long. It helps if you turn on your four way flashers and either listen of feel for the clicking. no need to remove the cluster or dash. You can get to it from the bottom. Hope that helps.

Thanks bryguy1!! That may very well be the info jonk and I need. Thanks for finding this and taking the time to post.

Did you have to remove the lower dash/trim panel to access it, or were you able to just reach up there and ....?

my 6 does not have a lower trim panel. I was just able to use a flashlight and lay on my back upside down and twist my arm all around to reach it. I would assume that if your 3 has a trim panel it would have to be removed.
