Hi, I tried to change my 06 Mazda3 auto trany fluid and have a very hard time to fill it through the trany level dipstick tube which was recommended by the dealer shop guy. It is taking hours to fill a quart, because the air is not venting out. This guy claimed that there is a small vent tube off this dipstick tube that is pointing down by design. His shop would use a rubber hose to loop it up to let the air out. Well I cannot locate this vent tube.

Any idea? Help!!!!!!

 

Solved! For those who might be interested - i inserted a small plastic tube in the regular funnel that is small and long enough (20 inches) to snake through the dipstick tube and allow air to come up around it since it is much smaller than the tube ID. Works like a charm.
