Removing V6 in Mazda Tribute
Getting ready to pull out a V6 in a Tribute. Does anyone of any ideas or suggestions on making this project go any kind of easy? Not quite sure what is the problem or what is going to have to be done yet.

V6 Removal
I have done this twice in the past month. I am about to put it back in tomorrow.
The engine and transmission comes out from the bottom as one unit.
Remove the alternator and intake manifold and coils.
Raise the car on ramps, use block of woods on top of the ramps to raise even higher.
Make sure you chocke the rear wheels and pull the parking brake.
I found easier to unbold the transmission cable instead of messing with the plastic adjustment nuts.
I have lost of spare parts. If you plan to remove the transmission, make sure you remove the torque converter nuts thru the bottom of the engine before removing the engine. You will need to rotate the crank to remove all 4 nuts.
good luck buddy.
