Default Rear rotor and brake pad replacement on 2006 Tribute?

I have done plenty of front rotor and brake pads on several cars in the past.
According to my mechanic, the rear shouldn't be that much different from
the front since the e-brake is in the hub. My question is that some cars
use a special rotating tool with two pins to reset the piston instead of the basic c-clamp we are all use to. Does Mazda Tributes require this tool? I know for fact
GM's use it. The reason I ask is because I don't have this special tool which
is a round plate with two pins that connect the two pin holes in the caliper
piston. It actually rotates the piston as the clamp screws the piston to
its reset position.

I have read somewhere that you may be able to use a pair of needle-nose pliers for the job. I have not had a need to do that myself.

Nevermind, I called my mechanic and he said the Ford Escapes and Madza Tributes require no special tool to reset the piston.

The "C-clamp" will be fine just like the fronts.
