Engine swap help for '05 Tribute V6
Hi,
So, I have an '05 Tribute 3.0 V6 that I've been having trouble with. It had started making a rather ugly clacking/ticking sound and was shaking violently some time back and had stalled out when I came to a stop. I managed to get it started and took it to a nearby mechanic. The mechanic shop wouldn't touch it because the sound is coming from inside the block. Also noticed my coolant had turned a milky white color. A friend of mine says this is a sign of a cracked block. On top of that, I'm pretty sure the violent shaking and clacking is due to a broken piston/piston rod, so we figured it best to just swap the engine out. I've already bought a complete engine. I've never have had to do this before so I could use all the help and advice you all can give.
Thanks in advance.
