Question Engine Oil Cooler leaking oil into coolant

New Member with 2002 Tribute ES 3.0L V6. Oil leaking into coolant system - No other issues like water in crankcase, exhaust smoke or hard start - Think the engine oil cooler is leaking oil into coolant. Has anyone else had this problem? Any reason to install an after market oil cooling system instead of just replacing the OEM cooler linked to engine coolant? Thanks for any help.

I have done a little google searching and came up only with sales propaganda, no tech articles. It appears to me that the main reasons for combined radiator-oil cooler or any combined coolers are space utilization and speed of assembly on the factory floor.
I think you are well aware of the main disadvantage.
