2002 tribute dx motor mount
I have replaced all mounts on my tribute and normally I don't noticed any issues. sometimes it is so quiet it is scary and other times as I shift the car the transmission seems like it is hoping (motor is a 4 cylinder). also, I can grab the casted arm that the trans mount bolts to and I can move it and this movement to me seems unorthodox. I can see the mount move all around and again it seems strange. next, I have talked to mazda, google, looked at the ford excpe, etc. and I can't seem to fid any pictures of what that area of the car looks like. I am thinking I am missing a part or something; again, too much movement. the link below is what this mount looks like. also, does anyone know how to check the manual trans fluid. the Chilton manual seems strange to put the car on jacks to do this and is 80w90 okay to use ilo 75w-90 like the book says?
