Hi I recently purchased a 2001 Tribute 2.0 5sp. 141,000
I drove it home 3 hours and it ran fine. I drove it for 4 days and not a problem. I was going to do a full tune up on it and change the oil so I went to the car wash and sprayed the engine with degreasser and washed it. Ran fine for the rest of the day. The next morning I got up filled up the tank and put Seafoam in the crank case and fuel tank 1/2 can each. Ran fine that whole day. Next morning woke up and it ran fine till it warmed up and then it acts like a misfire from 1000-4500 rpm then it takes off like a rocket! I've changed the fuel filter and spark plugs. Its consistent every time. Runs fine until it hits about 165 degrees, then same problems. Please help! Thanks!
