2001 Shifter STuck in Park, but indicating Neutral?

Default 2001 Shifter STuck in Park, but indicating Neutral?
So my car has been fine..no indication something wa wrong with it. and as I put the car in park the shifter went into Park, but stayed in Neutral....I cannot get it to move...any advice?

(first time poster)...thank you.
