Default 04 Mazda Tribute Ignition Coil bolt

Replacing plug coil. When backing the bolt out, I noticed I was not making any progress. I saw that the bolt housing was turning also. It is a brass fitting with teeth on the outside. I finally got it out and I guess it reamed it out pretty good. Now I cannot get the brass fitting to catch in the plastic housing.

Can I buy another brass fitting? If so, where?

Any suggestions will be appreciated?

Thanks
Phillip

Are the teeth on the brass bit still there? Is it the brass bushing that the bolt goes through in the coil plug?

Hey there. I have the same problem. Do you remember how you fixed it? Where you got another brass fitting?

Thanks very much,

You might be able to use 2 part epoxy to bind insert to valve cover
