Exclamation mazda rx8 radio reset code

i have a '04 mazda rx-8 and had to recently take my radio out to replace the climate conatrol switches. when i went to put it all back in the same exact way i took it all out the radio didnt work, or the climate control. it would only light up red on the display and eject/take the cd. only the fan would work on the climate control too. ive looked around and found out i need a reset code because the car thinks the radio has been stolen. ive found a few didnt codes for mazdas but none of them worked on mine. can anyone help me and tell me what code i need or what would work. if anyone has anything i would be greatly thankful.

You will either have to call Mazda with your Vin, or take the car to them.

There are two connectors the same which are very easy to mix up. If you do the radio doesn't work or the climate control.

Pull it all out and verify the plugs are in correctly. Also, get the serial number of the radio while you have it out. Either call or take the car to a Mazda dealership and have them look up your code.
