RX8 immobiliser issue....
Hi all,
My 2006 RX8 has been of the road for 6 months (due to finance problems) I regularly started the engine and let it warm up, to keep it happy.
However, during the current cold spell I have not done this and not surprising, the battery went flat. I jump started it with no problems and let the engine warm up once more. However, after disconnecting jump leads and restarting, I get a loud fast clicking from behind the dash with the dials flicking back and forth, with the immobiliser warning light on.
Any idea why this would work ok then 30 seconds later goes T/U? I reconnected the jump leads but still got the same.
Is this a tow to the Mazda garage job?
