I have a 2004 RX-8 showing a code P0171 saying that the fuel is to lean in bank 1 the car won't start and the engine isn't turning over I've tried looking for solutions but no one seems to know what is wrong with it if anyone knows how to fix this problem or if it's even worth fixing it would be much appreciated

 

I think you might have a combination of issues here. The highest priority to determine the root-cause as to why the engine won't turn over. Start with the battery; is it fully charged and in good condition? Are both terminals clean and tight? Does the negative terminal attach to the body with a good connection? If all is good then move on to the fuses; verify that there are no blown fuses relating to the ignition. I believe the interior panel is by your left foot. The other is under the hood near the battery under the engine and battery cover. Fuses 19 & 20 are for ignition while 22 is for the fuel pump.

If all checks out, you might have a problem with your starter or solenoid. Let, me know how things go.
