Default In search of parts

Hi all. New here, so apologies if this is covered in the FAQ section; I looked a bit but didn't find quite what I'm after.

I'm in search of parts for a '90 gen 2 FC convertible. The problems are that the wipers work only on low speed, and the high beams don't work.

The parts I'm after are

CONTROL UNIT FC6667560A
SWITCH FC6666180

These are, of course NLA from Mazda

FC6666180 is the wiper switch assembly, it looks from other posts like I could get mine repaired. According to the shop that diagnosed the problem, controller module has similar problems (relays?) to the wipers, so maybe that would be repairable as well.

Any information on sorting these out would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried contacting Mazda Australia or New Zealand? might be worth a chance.

Thanks for the idea grim. I've made a few inquiries ("enquiries", in local-speak) but so far come up empty. This is for a US car, and the guys in Oz that I talked to said the parts don't even show up in their database :-(

Are there any junkyards which "specialize" in Rx7s? Googling around for something like that hasn't led anywhere yet either.

Have you searched for RX7 or rotary car clubs online?

Might have more info or suggestions.

Yep. I've found a few, including this one

I've found one parts supplier who thinks they have one NOS part. I've also got some contacts with some racers who hack Mazdas, they're using their network to search for usable ones. Finally, I've found autoecmstore.com, who say they have a refurb controller unit.

If I keep beating the bushes, I expect I'll eventually come up with some usable parts. If I do, I'll post the results back here.
