Default 1980 LS

My first new car was a 1980 RX-7 LS. I drove it for over 10 yrs before putting it away. I always thought that I would one day restore it, but I have given up on this idea and need to sell it. It is 99% missing just minor items such as coil wire, rad cap & hose, wiper blades that about it. The glass is all good no pecks. interior fair to poor, and body has quite a few minor dents but nothing major. The car could be restored but short of that is would make a great parts car. I know this is not the classifided but I had to make a post before I could list an ad. Please someone make an offer and don't let this limited edition car go to the crusher. $1000 OBO. Email me for link to pic's

You may want to post this in the for sale section also, where it will receive more traffic.

I would like and intend to do that but there is so many rules to this. so many posts, picture with forum info included ect. Was there a prob. with some type of scamming going on here? I don't wish to make money I just want someone to have my car that can use something from it and it not go to junkman.

Tom

Hey Tom,
As a matter of fact we did, and occasionally continue to have spammers and scammers on this site as well as every other I am aware of.
I increased the necessity for further documentation to help eliminate that, to prove that the person selling something actually owned it and had it in their possession before posting.I wanted to help protect our members of which I am one
They have also been put in place to help eliminate those that would chose to use our site as a selling only forum... the one-time posters that only come on to sell their wares.
If you think these rules are harsh, you should see the ones on the other Mazda site I Mod for.
I know this can be inconvenient for those honest members, including me, and I hated to feel the need to do it too, but thats the world we live in today.
I applaud you for actually reading the rules. I have eliminated many threads and posts already(Mazmart Trini can attest) from "new" members that obviously did not.
