Default Performance parts to make Mazdaspeed Protege Race Ready

Hello all, I'm new to the forum. I just bought a '03 Mazdaspeed protege. I am looking for some ideas for performance race parts to make this car SCCA auto cross race ready. Changed to this car this year from my classic porsche, and i am now going to race the mazda hopefully nationally. I don't know a whole lot about the car itself, although i've been doing some research. I'm not looking to that much only on a few basic things as i must follow the rules unfortunately. But heres what i'm looking for ideas on. Please keep in mind i don't want to spend 10 grand on mods but more or less aroung 4. Also weight is also another concern.

Parts:

Cat Back Exhaust-no greater than 3.5"
Springs- can have
Shocks/Struts with less than 2 dampening levels and bushings- probally something basic not sure if they make something like that
Air filter
Racing wheels of stock size
Sway/Anti-roll bars and bushings
Brake pads
spark plugs
wires
ignition coils

I know this may be alot to ask for, but i'm just looking for some good ideas and figured asking you guys would be a good place to start.

Thanks for any input

Can't help you much personally but check out this forum if you haven't already. Lots of knowledgeable guys there who own MPS's.
