Hi, I have a Mazda Protege LX 2001, since about 2 months i have a problem that is driving me crazy. The problems come after drive for a while (may be 20 mins.) the cars lost power like when the fuel tanks gets empty, is like a bronco jumping and i push the gas and recovers a little bit but the cars shuts down. After a trying for a while its never comes on, i have to wait for about 20 mins and starts normally. The most weird about it is that the problems only happens when the weather is hot, never happens when im driving early in the morning when im going to work. Yesterday the problem happens and i thought that was the gas pump, i tested the lines and the gas had pressure from the pump but still the car didnt come on. I dont want to go to the mechanic yet because the problem just happens sometimes and not always and they will make me to replace a lot of parts until they find whats the problem is. I would like to you help me with this issue. Thanks.
