door handle and power door lock noise
ok today it looks like my inner driver side door handle is not working but the outside one is, anyone know how to replace it?
also when you press the power door lock button is it normal for the power door locks to be loud? Also the power doors locks make the noise every time i press the button but it won't lock the door sometimes anyone know why?
the fuses are good
here is a video of the power door locks noise:

I cannot tell you if the noise is normal. I can give you a definite "maybe". This is because the Ford Contour we own makes a very similar noise. The old 98 Protege locks make a "clack". The reason is that the Contour uses motors that spin and drive a gear and the old Protege uses solenoids that toggle when a magnetic field is applied.
Look for images on google for the door locks to your car. I am sure you will find out what you have.
Spray lubricant at the lock latches on the doors. If that does not help I would remove the door panel to get access to the mechanical parts and spray some cleaner/lubricant at it. It makes noise, so it is probably not an electrical issue.
