2002 Protege Audio Question
Good Day All!
I am new to this forum and have a question about the standard radio that comes with the 2002 Protege LX. I would like to use my Mp3 player through the car audio, and do not want to use FM transmitters (they are not reliable). Does this radio unit have a RCA jack (red and white) on the back, usually reserved for the MiniDisc unit, that I could attach a cord to, then run it to the Mp3 player? Does this sound like it might work?
If so, how do I remove the radio from the face panel? Is there an easier way to get the back of the radio to see if these jacks exist?
Any advice would be great. Thanks!
Ostrak.

Check this out...

The radio does not have a line-in but this connects to the head unit and allows a line-in when you press tape/md.
I have the basic and it work's great.
