02 P5 will not start. Bought a new battery. Cranks but will not start. Has gas. i think its my starter but I can't find the thing. If anyone has any suggestions or can tell me when the starter is so I can give it a wack or get a new one. Thank you

 

if it cranks over it is not the starter, either it's not getting fuel or it's not getting any spark.

 

So you dont think its the starter? how can i check to see if its fuel or spark? And I will say I did run out of gas like a week before all this crap started... any suggestions would be great..thank you

 

I'm not much of an expert. But as far as I know the fuel pump needs to be submerged in fuel in order to function properly (so it doesnt overheat, I believe) Maybe when you ran out of fuel you busted the fuel pump?
