Hi All! Please have pity on a newbie and bear with me a moment. I'm seriously considering buying this truck. It has a 5spd, body looks great, frame is rusty but no rot that I can see. But it also has 144,000 miles on it. What I'm looking for is your opinion on whether this mileage on a 14 year old truck is a non-issue? Are there other things I should be looking at or at least know what may lie ahead for repairs/maintenance issues down the line? I've owned other vehicles in the past with high miles only to eventually have them turn around within a short time and bite me in the a** with expensive repairs I wasn't prepared for. Are these years a fairly safe bet if well maintained?
